St. Hildegard Dispensary

The Holy Spirit Sisters opened this dispensary in the Siha district in the Kilimanjaro Region in Tanzania.  The population of the area is about 116,313.  The dispensary started in 2011 but was not officially inaugurated until February 2017.  The dispensary is on its way to becoming a health center.  The poor of the area cannot afford the cost of health care even though in US dollars it runs about $15.00.  Poverty is a great concern and health insurance is rare.  There is no government-provided care for the poor.

The facility is in need of an underground well and rain catchment system.  It will cost about $45,000.00 There is a lack of water, especially in the dry season.  Please donate toward Health Care Facilities to help with this project.
